Womens Heritage Celebration

A unique weekend event celebrating women's contributions to the home and community during the 1940s. Hands on demonstrations each day to learn how women were master recyclers during the 40s. Activities for kids and adults both, including wringer washing, canning demonstrations, sewing, embroidery, knitting and other skills still useful today.
Sunday activities include an ecumenical church service in the Memory Lane Church, followed by a tea social.
