The Eastern Shore Treasure Hunt
September 27, 2008 come on out the the Eastern Shore.
Learn about the Eastern Shore and its heritage. Bring a bucket,
some zip lock bags, shovel, rubber boots, scissors or snips, pen, water and your children or friends, groups are always better for searching. Dress according to weather, you will have to leave the car. Have some fun, you will be expected to find some objects that are located along our roadsides, beaches, trail ways and businesses. Trivia, the locals are always great help! No registration fees, but some clues may cost you money(max total for day would be $40.00). Search will start as soon as you can find a Daily News or pop into one of the participating spots, these spots will be published on this site prior to the event. You must check into the Seaforth Hall in Seaforth by 5pm. There will be Chowder and Chili (hotdogs for the kids), hot chocolate, coffee or tea with a sweet. Meal includes a sweet too for $6.50. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Bragging rights included.
